District police are searching for a missing 7-year-old autistic boy who apparently wandered away from his parents’ home Sunday morning in Northeast Washington.
Police said officers plan to fan out in the neighborhoods near Gallaudet University and Trinidad on Monday and go door to door. “We hope he’s at somebody’s house somewhere,” said Cmdr. Andrew Solberg, who heads the 5th District station.
Boy was last seen near Trinidad in Northeast Washington; needs medication.

A man was fatally stabbed at a dinner party in District Heights, the Prince George’s police said.
Three killed in crashes over holiday weekend
Of the three separate incidents around the region, two involved motorcycles.
The youth is identified as Michael Kingsbury, a black male about 4 feet 3 inches tall and weighing about 60 pounds. He has dreadlocks and a light complexion, and was last seen wearing a pull-up. Police said he may be in need of medical attention and has difficulty talking.
Police said he was last seen by family members between 9 and 9:30 a.m. in the 1700 block of West Virginia Ave. NE. Solberg said there have been no leads in the past 24 hours.
